His postgraduate qualifications include a Master of Occupational and Environmental Health by Research from Monash University.

Dr Chow was awarded the AFOEM Ramazzini Presentation Prize for best scientific paper related to Occupational and Environmental medicine at the RACP Congress 2022.

Dr Eftekar holds accreditations in several key areas, including the American Medical Association Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 5th Ed., the Comcare Guide to the Assessment of Degree of Permanent Impairment, and the Psychiatric Impairment Rating Scale. They are also certified as a Workers Compensation NSW Permanent Impairment Assessor and a Guidelines to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment Trained Assessor. Dr Eftekar earned their Doctor of Medicine from the Iran Medical Council and holds fellowships with the Royal Australasian College of General Physicians and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. They also possess a Certificate in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry. He has held roles as a Psychiatrist at New Farm Clinic, QLD, and as a Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, QLD. Mr Simon Dann

Areas that he has worked in extensively are treating Depression/Anxiety, Alcohol and Drug issues and Clients presenting with Employment and Personal relationship issues. He has a research interest in managing major mental illness through therapeutic treatment in addition to medication. Simon’s practice includes the belief that the majority of alcohol and drug issues are related to an underlying mh disorder and once that is treated the person can often reduce their subsequent drug and alcohol use. Finally, Simon has worked extensively with adults presenting with the challenges of ADHD and autism and has a keen interest in this evolving area.

Dr Janan Chandrananth

Dr Janan Chandrananth

Dr Janan Chandrananth completed his undergraduate medical training at The University of Melbourne in 2012. He went on to complete his orthopaedic fellowship training across multiple New South Wales and Canberra institutions, also including a rotation in the USA at the Shriners Hospital for Children, and was awarded his fellowship in 2021.

Dr Janan Chandrananth continually contributes to the medical industry through research, publications and industry events. He additionally holds multiple teaching and mentor roles for medical students and junior doctors. He is part of The University of Melbourne’s MDHS Mentorship program for medical students and aspiring young doctors.

Outside of work, Dr Chandrananth has trained in martial arts, being awarded the Bushido cross and black belt second dan in Karate.
