Once back in Australia she completed her bachelor’s degree in OT and got her start in Aged Care. Driving assessments were something Heather was very interested in since university and once given the opportunity to train with Williams OT jumped at the chance to switch fields and could not be happier with her decision. Heather is a qualified OT Driver Assessor and Rehab practitioner with additional qualifications in Heavy Vehicle and Motorbike assessments and is a qualified Motor Driving Instructor. She is committed to assisting people with their driving goals and works to provide a supportive environment for all her clients and the Williams OT team.

Nat has particular knowledge pertaining to Workers Compensation, Compulsory Third-Party Accident Claims and other Personal Injury matters. She believes that successful and sustainable return to work outcomes for workers and employers requires a proactive approach which focuses on abilities rather than barriers, recovery at work and effective, upfront communication with all stakeholders.
Through her career, Nat has developed a passion for the Medicolegal aspect of her role. From her experience, Nat is able to accurately represent the functional needs of people who are incapacitated following injury or illness as a result of an event that has led to litigation. In providing her opinion, in these matters, she focuses on a resumption of the subject’s participation in their pre-incident lifestyle, or as close to that lifestyle as possible, without consideration for enhancement or degradation of their quality of life.

Following the completion of a Bachelor of Health Sciences of a Master of Occupational Therapy, William commenced work as a Rehabilitation Consultant for the ADF. In this capacity, his experience includes a range of diagnoses including physical disability, neurological and spinal cord injuries, amputees, traumatic and acquired brain injury, and psychosocial diagnoses. With a caseload of this nature, clients often present with increasing complexity, multiple co-morbities and functional limitations across multiple areas of their life. A key skill he developed in this role was the ability to advocate for the serving members under his care by providing comprehensive written reports that justify their need for care.
