Dr Bala started practicing as a specialist in Rehabilitation medicine in 2004 at The Victorian Rehabilitation Center in Glen Waverley Victoria. Shortly after, he started his practice in the area of Traumatic Brain Injury and Multi trauma Rehabilitation alongside his interest in pain management.
He was a recipient of the Bruce Ford Scholarship through the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine in 2005 for which he went to Uppsala University in Sweden to pursue his pilot project in Brain Injury.
On his return, he worked in the outer metropolitan suburbs in the areas of need and has worked across Melbourne Metro in public and private hospitals. Dr Bala has now consolidated his practice in public and private in the district of Illawarra and Sholhaven in Wollongong NSW Australia.

Dr David Hayes is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who was educated in Brisbane and received his medical degree from the University of Queensland in 1989. He completed his Orthopaedic training and was admitted as a Fellow to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1999. Dr Hayes research interests are directed to knee surgery and hip arthroscopy.
