Dr Alexey Sidorov

After completing a Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Sydney, Dr Sidorov went on to attain a Master of Psychiatry and a Graduate Certificate of Forensic Mental Health at UNSW. Since then, he has worked in a number of general hospitals, prison clinics, Court Liaison Services, and managed his own private clinic. He is fluent in English and Russian, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills, developed from years spent liaising with various stakeholders and preparing medicolegal reports for Courts and Tribunals in Australia.

Dr Velimir Kovacevic

Dr Velimir Kovacevic

Until recently, he served as Clinical Director of court Liaison Service – at Metro North Mental Health.  He has experience in diagnosing and treating a range of psychotic, mood, trauma-related and anxiety disorders. He also has experience in providing medico-legal psychiatric evaluations, criminal and civil report writing and Court evidence, working for some of Australia’s largest providers of independent medical examinations.

As part of his forensic experience, Dr Kovacevic worked in high and medium-security inpatient settings, community and rehabilitation services, and provided general psychiatric care to mentally ill persons in custody, including the service clinical and operational management. He advised and assisted general mental health services regarding the treatment and management of clients with complex mental health needs and forensic issues.

Dr Nicholas Ho

Dr Ho has a longstanding commitment to a holistic and trauma-informed approach to care. He has an interest in the role of trauma in the development of mental health disorders and its role in shaping behaviour.

He has experience and expertise in general psychiatric conditions, forensic psychiatry, and medicolegal reporting. He has completed permanent impairment training in accordance with AMA4 and AMA5, and is an Approved Permanent Impairment Assessor with WorkCover WA.

Dr Sharon Jones

She has extensive experience in managing psychotic illness, substance use disorders, and mood disorders in youth, having led a community early psychosis team for many years.
