Dr Lingwood has extensive experience performing high-quality, detailed, independent medicolegal assessments and reports for a variety of stakeholders in the public and private sectors, including insurers, employers, lawyers, unions and individuals. He is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner, accredited by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners, and trained in using the American Medical Association (AMA) Guides to evaluate Permanent Impairment. Dr Chow was awarded the AFOEM Ramazzini Presentation Prize for best scientific paper related to Occupational and Environmental medicine at the RACP Congress 2022.
Dr Chow is accredited for AMA4 (VIC/TAS) and AMA5 assessments and is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME) with the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME). He is also a Medical Review Officer with the Australasian Medical Review Officers Association (AMROA).
In terms of leadership positions, he is currently the Treasurer General of the Victorian branch of The Australian and New Zealand Society of Occupational Medicine.
