Dr Alcock has undertaken two Interventional Cardiology Fellowships, both locally and internationally. He has published and presented research in local, national, and
international forums and journals. Inclusive of his current role of Interventional Cardiologist at Royal Perth Hospital WA, he is the Director of the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, Director of the Interventional Fellowship training program, and Director of the Complex Coronary Intervention Program.
As a procedural cardiologist (Interventional Cardiology), Dr Alcock has a strong working knowledge, both theoretical and practical, in coronary angiography and revascularisation strategies related to coronary artery disease.
