Prof Fiona Mackie
Fiona Mackie is a senior consultant paediatric nephrologist at Sydney Childrenu2019s Hospital Randwick and University of N.S.W. She received her initial medical degrees and PhD from Sydney University. Fiona received postgraduate training in paediatric kidney transplantation at Stanford University and completed a 3 year fellowship there.
She was the Chair of the Australian and New Zealand Paediatric Nephrology Association from 2012-2015 and still serves on the Executive. She is currently the paediatric representative on the Allocation Sub-committee of the Renal Transplant Advisory Group for Australia. Fiona is the incoming Chair of the International Paediatric Transplant Association Outreach Committee and has been actively involved in supporting nephrology and transplantation in Vietnam.
