Seema is an experienced registered nurse with over 17 years of combined experience in clinical nursing, healthcare quality improvement, case reviews, education development and delivery, and research. Her experience spans across mental health, aged care, drug and alcohol, community (including NDIS), general medicine and acute care. She has demonstrated expertise in translating complex medical information into clear, concise narratives and facilitating informed decision-making. Seemau2019s expertise further lies in reviewing clinical incidents and providing evidence-based analysis for cases involving negligence, psychological injury, documentation gaps, medication errors, duty of care breaches, and staff-related injuries.
Seema holds a Master of Nursing and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Nursing (Mental Health), both from Monash University, as well as a Bachelor of Nursing from Deakin University. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of clinical, quality, leadership, governance, and educational roles at prominent organisations such as Alfred Health, Monash University, Monash Health, La Trobe University, UnitingCare, Melbourne Health, and Arcare Aged Care. Her professional journey has encompassed significant contributions in clinical care, quality and safety oversight, healthcare governance, and academic and professional education, spanning hospital, community, university, and aged care environments.
