Dr Tim Ho
Dr Tim Ho is a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician and Rehabilitation Physician with extensive experience in the assessment and management of complex acute and chronic pain conditions. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with First Class Honours, a Master of Science in Biopharmaceuticals, and Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (Royal Australasian College of Physicians). He is also a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine (Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists) and the Chapter of Addiction Medicine (Royal Australasian College of Physicians).
Dr Ho’s clinical expertise includes spinal pain disorders, neuropathic pain syndromes, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), post-surgical pain conditions, occupational and motor vehicle injury-related pain, and persistent disability presentations. His approach integrates pain medicine with functional rehabilitation principles, with particular focus on capacity, impairment, and return-to-work outcomes.
In the medicolegal setting, Dr Ho provides Independent Medical Examinations (IME), permanent impairment assessments, causation opinions, and work capacity evaluations across workers compensation, CTP, personal injury, and common law matters. He is accredited and experienced in the application of the American Medical Association Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, Fifth Edition (AMA 5) and Sixth Edition (AMA 6), applying jurisdiction-specific legislation and guidelines as required.
