Dr Steiner has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, presented at national and international scientific meetings, and is actively involved in ongoing clinical research spanning spinal oncology, surgical technique optimisation and patient outcomes.

Dr Steiner has a strong commitment to education and quality improvement. He is a facilitator within the Australian Orthopaedic Association’s training program, a clinical examiner and interviewer for surgical selection processes, and a participant in key quality and safety committees including CHASM and the Northern Sydney Hip Fracture Steering Committee.
