Dr Hui Ting Ooi
Dr Hui Ting Ooi is a well-regarded and qualified Consultant Occupational Physician with immense experience in fitness for duty and return to work assessments, workplace injury management and medicolegal independent medical examination. nnAfter graduating from Monash University, Dr Ooi completed specialist occupational and environmental training to become a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (RACP) in Melbourne, Victoria. Her excellence in the field has been recognised with the prestigious Dean Southgate Award for top marks in the Fellowship exams.
Besides performing fitness for duty assessment and medicolegal assessment, Dr Ooi has vast experience providing occupational health and safety services to various industries such as manufacturing (Toyota in Altona North), emergency services (Fire Rescue Victoria, New South Wales Police) and healthcare (Auckland Health in New Zealand). Dr Ooi also works part-time in Kinnect oversighting pre-employment medical assessments and providing expert advice and recommendations to enhance clients’ workplace health and safety.
With her commitment and experience working in diverse geographical locations (Victoria, New South Wales and Auckland), Dr Ooi is willing to see individual from different cultural background and adapts a holistic approach in her assessment. In addition, she keeps herself updated with the latest evidence based medicine by attending webinars, conferences and taking part in peer review discussions.
