Dr Hillol Das
Dr Das' interest in psychiatry dates back to 1989 and he has practiced in Australia since 1996. He has particular expertise in pharmacotherapy of major mental illnesses.
Much of his work over last ten years involves independent assessments or medico legal opinions on complex mental health issues. He speaks Bengali and Hindi and he has special interest in transcultural manifestations of psychiatric problems. Dr Das is an experienced Independent Medical Examiner with accreditations across several states in the country for permanent impairment assessments and provision of independent psychiatric reports.
