He has an interest in general adult mental health problems, alcohol and other addiction disorders, medicolegal assessments and driving assessments. Dr Chivaurah is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), holds a Masters degree of Medicine in Advanced Psychiatry from the University of Sydney, is certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME) and the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA), is a winner of the Best scholarship and has published research. He holds a RANZCP certificate in addiction psychiatry in addition to qualifications obtained in England and Zimbabwe.
