Dr Andrew Tsoi
Dr Andrew Tsoi is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist based in Melbourne. He is currently working in a public consultant position at Eastern Health and in private practice where he manages a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions, performing both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
Dr Tsoi obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Griffith University, followed by a Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) and a Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney. In 2024, he became a Fellow of both the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Australasian College of Legal Medicine. His specialist training was completed at both St Vincent’s Hospital and Northern Health. Dr Tsoi also completed a Liver Research Fellowship at Eastern Health, where he focused on fatty liver disease and hepatocellular carcinoma biomarkers.
Dr Tsoi has dual qualifications in both medicine and law. He holds a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, both of which have shaped his interest in medico-legal issues. He has also been admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
