Dr Alex Knopman

In the medicolegal area, Dr Knopman has extensive experience and expertise conducting assessments for CTP and Worker’s Compensation insurance claims, work capacity assessments, fitness for duty and general legal matters where these relate to cognitive function.
Dr Knopman has an appointment as a Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist at Uniting War Memorial Hospital, teaches on the Master of Clinical Neuropsychology program at UNSW and is an Adjunct Fellow at Macquarie University. He has previously held clinical neuropsychology positions at Westmead Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, KaRa Institute of Neurological Diseases and Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney - in the areas of neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, rehabilitation, geriatric medicine, drug and alcohol, and general medicine.

Dr Knopman has published research in peer reviewed journals, presented at national and international conferences, and supervises students and neuropsychology registrars.
