A.Prof Sinnathamby Sundaraj
Associate Professor S Raj Sundaraj is a pioneer of Pain Medicine in Australia. He has been at the forefront of multidisciplinary pain management and interventional techniques since sub-specialising in Pain Medicine in 1988. He is an Associate Professor of Sydney University, School of Medicine.
He has supervised the training of final year medical students and registrars in Anaesthetics and Pain Medicine. His mentorship has enabled his post-graduate registrars to gain their Pain Medicine subspecialty qualifications both in Australia and internationally. He was the founding Director of Multidisciplinary Pain Medicine at Nepean Tertiary Hospital, Penrith. He has been a past examiner of the Fellowship of Interventional Pain Practitioners.
