Prof Nabavi’s surgical training started at the Orthopaedic unit of the London Hospital Medical College, a pioneering centre for hip and knee arthroplasty. In 1996 Prof Nabavi emigrated to Australia where he completed his training in orthopaedic surgery 2005. He spent a further twelve months sub-specialising in the surgery of the hip and knee, first here in Sydney and subsequently at the Exeter Hip unit which is one of the premier centres for hip surgery in the world. Prof Nabavi is a frequent speaker at national and international scientific meetings. He has presented internationally on his areas of expertise.
