Oliver has expertise in medical leadership and clinical governance having an associate fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators, has served as a Director of Medical Services, and is a member of the Safer Care Victoria Academy. He is a Certified Health Informatician Australasia, Clinical Associate Professor at the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health, University of Melbourne, and co-chair of the Digital Health Policy and Advisory Sub-committee for the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators. Oliver has also served as a Chief Medical Informatics Officer supporting the implementation of a Electronic Medical Record systems, worked with the Therapeutic Goods Administration to develop and implement the Australian Unique Device Identification (UDI) System, and been involved in many aspects of information technology development, implementation and support for over 25 years.
