Dr Phillip Vecchio is a Rheumatologist with extensive experience in all musculoskeletal areas, including occupational syndromes, arthritis and disorders of muscles, tendons and ligaments. His qualifications include MBBS and FRACP.

He has been a Consultant Neurologist at the Brisbane Clinic since 1986 and a visiting neurologist at Greenslopes Hospital, where he helped develop Brisbane’s first acute stroke unit. Dr Sheehan has over 34 years of experience and expertise in MedicoLegal matters, offering services ranging from file reviews and claims triaging services to complex independent MedicoLegal examinations and assessments, provision of Permanent Whole Person Impairments and Expert Witness services. Until recently, he served as Clinical Director of court Liaison Service – at Metro North Mental Health. He has experience in diagnosing and treating a range of psychotic, mood, trauma-related and anxiety disorders. He also has experience in providing medico-legal psychiatric evaluations, criminal and civil report writing and Court evidence, working for some of Australia’s largest providers of independent medical examinations.
As part of his forensic experience, Dr Kovacevic worked in high and medium-security inpatient settings, community and rehabilitation services, and provided general psychiatric care to mentally ill persons in custody, including the service clinical and operational management. He advised and assisted general mental health services regarding the treatment and management of clients with complex mental health needs and forensic issues.

As well as being recognised as an occupational medical specialist in Australia and South Africa, Dr Seevnarain also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry. This allows him to provide efficient medical solutions to physical and mental health workplace concerns for a comprehensive approach.

After gaining his medical degree at the University of London, Dr Journeaux commenced orthopedic training and worked at leading hospitals in Bristol, Yorkshire and London in the United Kingdom. He also completed Fellowship training in complex hip and knee replacement as the Bone and Cartilage Transplantation Fellow at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane 1996. Before moving to Australia in 2003, he was a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Liverpool, UK, for five years. From March 2003 to June 2014, Dr Journeaux held the position of Director of Orthopaedics at Mater Health Services in Brisbane.
He holds GEPI accreditation with WorkCover Queensland and is a Member of the Medical Assessments Tribunal, SIRA Authorised Health Practitioner Panel, and WorkSafe Victoria Panel. He is also accredited with Comcare and certified with the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners in the AMA Guides 4th, 5th, and 6th Editions.

Dr David Hayes is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who was educated in Brisbane and received his medical degree from the University of Queensland in 1989. He completed his Orthopaedic training and was admitted as a Fellow to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1999. Dr Hayes research interests are directed to knee surgery and hip arthroscopy. He regularly lectures nationally and internationally.
