Trauma and General Surgeon with significant experience in emergency and complex surgery. Longstanding management experience, large scale conference/forum organising and convening experience and particular interests in education and quality assurance as well as having worked extensively in patient safety and the maintenance of ethics in healthcare. She has also worked with the International Committee of the Red Cross and the International Rescue Committee and holds a Diploma in International Humanitarian Assistance from Geneva University and a Masters Degree in International Public Health with a major in Humanitarian Law.
