Dr Damon Thomas is a Melbourne based, highly skilled plastic and reconstructive surgeon with experience that spans more than a decade. Dr Thomas has expertise in paediatric and adult hand and microvascular surgery, as well as all aspects of reconstructive and nerve surgery. He is well versed in aesthetic surgery including the enhancement and rejuvenation of the breast, face, and body. He consults privately in Malvern and Moonee Ponds.

Dr Damon Thomas completed his medical degree at the University of Auckland, in New Zealand and trained across Auckland and Christchurch. By 2005, Dr Thomas completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr Thomas completed subspeciality training at the Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery and on paediatric hand and microvascular surgery at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Dr Damon Thomas has a unique interest in managing paediatric hand and upper limb conditions including congenital anomalies, cerebral palsy, sarcomas and acquired conditions such as obstetric brachial plexus palsy.
