Dr Alice Tang is an Endocrinologist who completed medical school at the University of New South Wales after which she undertook general medicine training across several hospitals in Sydney and country NSW. Dr Tang progressed to endocrinology advanced training at the St George Hospital, Nepean Hospital and the Garvan Institute of Medical Research / St Vincent’s Hospital, after which she was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). She has completed a PhD specialising in obesity and metabolic health at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.
Dr Tang has been active in medical education and training; and has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented in national and international conferences. Dr Tang has worked as a Visiting Medical Officer appointment at St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst and currently practices in private practice in Hornsby, NSW. She manages patients with a spectrum of endocrinological conditions, including but not limited to; type 2 diabetes, thyroid disease and osteoporosis. She is a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia and the Australian Diabetes Society.
Dr Tang is currently based in Hornsby, NSW, where she offers regular availability to conduct medicolegal assessments both in-person and online via our tele-health platform, Kawaconn Video.
