Dr Sharon Jones
Dr Jones is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist with expertise in assessing and managing psychiatric disorders related to childhood trauma, including PTSD, personality disorders, treatment-resistant depression, dissociative disorders, substance use disorders and anxiety disorders, utilising both general psychiatric and psychodynamic psychotherapeutic approaches.
She has extensive experience in managing psychotic illness, substance use disorders, and mood disorders in youth, having led a community early psychosis team for many years. She has an interest in civil forensic psychiatry in the areas of the psychiatric sequelae of motor vehicle accidents, and historical sexual abuse.
