Dr Gerard Fennessy
Dr Fennessy is a fractional specialist in Intensive Care at Western Health, both Sunshine and Footscray Hospitals, and his major roles there include rostering and education.
He also writes regularly for the Victorian Coronial Communique. His current research interests include in-hospital cardiac arrests and intensive-care obstetrics. He also has an interest in end-of-life care, pain management and shoulder dislocations. He has previously worked in paediatrics and is experienced in medicolegal matters.
