Dr Stephen Vincent is a Respiratory and Sleep physician in Cairns, working in both the public and private sector with extensive experience in occupational lung diseases including but not limited to mesothelioma, asbestosis, silicosis, occupational asthma and bagassosis.
Dr Vincent is currently serving as the Clinical Director of Thoracic and Sleep medicine at Cairns Hospital, Independent Medical Examiner for WorkCover Queensland and WorkCover Tasmania. He also holds esteemed positions as an Accredited Medical Practitioner on the Register of Physicians in Queensland for Occupational Lung Disease, Vice President of the Far North medical legal society, and is also on the Dive and snorkelling death review panel.
Dr Vincent is currently based in Cairns, where he provides regular availability to conduct medicolegal assessments both in-person and online via our tele-health platform, Scope.
