Dr Graham Neilsen has over 30 years of experience in sexual health and HIV, working globally with United Nations agencies and international development organisations in various countries across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and beyond. Graham played a pivotal role in establishing the Gender Service at RBWH as the Senior Staff Specialist.
Dr Neilsen formerly served as the Co-Chair of the QLD Health Sexual Health Clinical Network and was a member of the Sexual Health Ministerial Advisory Committee. He’s a member of both AusPATH and WPATH. Graham holds a Masters of Medicine degree in Sexual Health from the University of Sydney and specialist Fellowships in Sexual Health Medicine and Public Health Medicine from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
