Dr David Kumagaya is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Psychogeriatrician with experience working across both public and private psychiatric sectors in Australia. He provides outpatient assessment and treatment of depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, bipolar disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, and cognitive disorders in the elderly. After completing his undergraduate medical training, Dr David Kumagaya obtained a Graduate Certificate in Applied Mental Health Studies specialising in Older Persons Mental Health, in addition to a Master of Psychiatric Medicine. He attended psychiatry training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and completed his Advanced Training in Psychiatry of Old Age at the Concord Centre for Mental Health. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), and an accredited member of the RANZCP Faculty of Old Age Psychiatry.

Currently based in Sydney, Dr Kumagaya provides regular availability to conduct MedicoLegal assessments both in-person and online via our Telehealth platform, Kawaconn Video.
