Professor David David is a specialist in the area of Cranio-Maxillo facial surgery and plastic & reconstructive surgery of the Head and Neck. ​He is qualified with MBBS, FRCS and FRACS.

Professor David is the founder of the Australian Craniofacial Unit and President of The Australian Cranio-Maxillo Facial Foundation. In recognition of his work he was named 2018 South Australian of the Year, received the Companion of the Order of Australia in 1988 and in 1990 South Australia honoured him by naming him the South Australian of the Decade.
